囫囵吞枣原指某人听说吃枣子伤脾胃,就在吃枣的时候,不用牙嚼,直接吞到肚子里。
Hu lun tun zao means somebody heard eating dates hurt the spleen and stomach. So, when he eats the dates, he does not chew them with teeth and swallow them directly.
